Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Central Cambria Red Devils (Ebensburg, PA), 79-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Bishop McCort upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Crushers host Central (Martinsburg, PA) to play the Dragons in a Laurel Highlands bout on Friday, January 5. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Red Devils play the Huntingdon Bearcats (Huntingdon, PA) in a Laurel Highlands bout, on Friday, January 5. Central Cambria will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 54-45 league loss to Clearfield (Clearfield, PA).
