Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) and the host MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA), saw Greater Nanticoke Area's basketball squad wallop MMI Preparatory School by a tally of 70-22.

With the victory, Greater Nanticoke Area improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA) to play the Hawkeyes in a Wyoming Valley 2 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Hawkeyes come into the challenge with a record of 0-5.
