Pennsylvania High School Basketball - MMI Preparatory School knocked off by Wyoming Area

The Wyoming Area Warriors basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting MMI Preparatory School to 21 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pittston for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Wyoming Area will battle a Patriots team coming off a 52-49 league loss to Berwick (Berwick, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.

The (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame (East Stroudsburg, PA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame was defeated by Cardinal O'Hara (Springfield, PA), 51-30, in a non-league contest.
