Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Penns Manor crushes River Valley

Penns Manor Comets (Clymer, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA), 67-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Penns Manor upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Comets travel to West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA) to play the Wolves in a Heritage bout on Friday, January 5. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 2-7. West Shamokin won 55-40 in their recent league bout against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) in a Heritage bout, on Friday, January 5. River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Stingers go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 50-34 league win over Homer-Center (Homer City, PA).
