The Purchase Line Red Dragons basketball team (Commodore, PA), was routed 69-31 in Friday's league battle with the host River Valley Panthers (Blairsville, PA)

The Panthers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Derry for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. River Valley will battle a Trojans team coming off a 58-48 non-league loss to Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-5.

The Red Dragons (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, Blacklick Valley trounced Glendale (Flinton, PA), 47-25, in a non-league battle.
