The Southern Alamance Patriots nipped the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves basketball squad by a final score of 51-49 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) in a 3A Central outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Southern Alamance will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Rockets enter the outing with a 12-0 record after their 65-52 non-league win over Northern Durham (Durham, NC).

The Fighting Red Wolves (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Panthers enter the 3A Central outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, Orange got by Williams (Burlington, NC), 60-50, in a league outing.
