The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves basketball squad (Hillsborough, NC), was nudged 47-41 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC)

With the victory, Chatham Central advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Bears travel to Graham (Graham, NC) to meet the Red Devils in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina battle on Friday, December 20. The Red Devils enter the battle with a record of 4-4. Graham lost 65-64 in their recent league battle against Cummings (Burlington, NC)

The Fighting Red Wolves now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Person for a 3A Central battle on Friday, December 20. Cedar Ridge will meet a Rockets squad coming off a 44-41 non-league win over Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 8-0.
