North Carolina High School Basketball - Franklin Academy crushes North Johnston

The Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) basketball crushed the host North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC), 72-35 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to East Wake Academy for a 1A/2A Super Six bout on Tuesday, January 7. Franklin Academy will play a Eagles team coming off a 52-41 non-league loss to American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, North Johnston falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC) to play the Gators in a 2A Neuse bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Spring Creek won 66-48 in their recent non-league bout against Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC)
