January 3, 2025: Lena, IL 61048 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lena-Winslow Panthers (Lena, IL) and the visiting Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL), observed Lena-Winslow's basketball team knock off Fulton by a score of 56-39.
The Panthers (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Winnebago (Winnebago, IL). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 5-10 record. In their last challenge, Winnebago was knocked off by Kewanee (Kewanee, IL), 69-61, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Steamers encounter the Milledgeville Missiles (Milledgeville, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Fulton will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Missiles come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 52-46 non-league win over Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL).
