January 3, 2025: Stinnett, TX 79083 The Spearman Lynx (Spearman, TX) basketball were winner over the host West Texas Comanches (Stinnett, TX), 51-42 in Friday's league bout.
The Lynx now possess a 16-4 record. They play next when they host Sanford-Fritch for a 2A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 7. Spearman will play a Eagles team coming off a 49-44 league win over Sunray (Sunray, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, West Texas falls to 13-3 on the campaign. The Comanches travel to Stratford (Stratford, TX) to play the Elks in a 2A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Elks go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Stratford lost 74-38 in their recent league bout against Gruver (Gruver, TX)
