January 3, 2025: Scranton, PA 18508 Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), 69-36 in a league match.
With the victory, Scranton Prep upgrades its record to 7-0 on the year. The Cavaliers host North Pocono (Covington Township, PA) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 7-4. North Pocono lost 47-29 in their recent league match against Valley View (Archbald, PA)
The Knights now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abington Heights for a Lackawanna 1 match on Tuesday, January 7. Scranton will face a Comets squad coming off a 45-34 non-league win over Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Comets record now stands at 5-4.
