January 4, 2022: Manlius, IL 61338 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL), by a count of 66-44.
The Steamers (16-1) will now prepare for their outing against Amboy (Amboy, IL). The Clippers go into the outing with a 5-10 record. In their last outing, Amboy was crushed by Eastland (Lanark, IL), 51-23, in a league outing.
The Storm now hold a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Kewanee for a Three Rivers - East outing on Friday, January 7. Bureau Valley will clash with a Boilermakers squad coming off a 66-53 non-league win over Serena (Serena, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 7-7.
