January 4, 2023: Oil City, PA 16301 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Oil City Oilers (Oil City, PA) and the visiting Bradford Owls (Bradford, PA), saw Oil City's basketball squad overcome Bradford by a tally of 48-29.
With the victory, Oil City improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Oilers travel to Greenville (Greenville, PA) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Greenville won 59-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Neshannock (New Castle, PA)
Next up, the Owls confront the St. Marys Flying Dutch (St. Marys, PA) in a District 9 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Bradford will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Flying Dutch come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 62-37 league win over DuBois Central Catholic (DuBois, PA).
