The Ellington Knights basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Rockville Rams to 48 in the Knights league triumph on Wednesday.
The Knights now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granby Memorial for a North Central Connecticut contest on Friday, January 6. Ellington will meet a Bears team coming off a 60-58 non-league win over Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (Hartford, CT). The Bears record now stands at 1-5.
The Rams (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against East Granby (East Granby, CT). The Crusaders enter the North Central Connecticut contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, East Granby was defeated by Somers (Somers, CT), 39-33, in a league contest.
