Connecticut High School Basketball - Ellington tops East Granby
February 3, 2023: East Granby, CT 06026 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) and the host East Granby Crusaders (East Granby, CT), saw Ellington's basketball squad knock off East Granby by a count of 43-31.
With the victory, Ellington upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Canton (Canton, CT) to play the Warriors in a North Central Connecticut challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Canton lost 64-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Bolton Bulldogs (Bolton, CT) in a North Central Connecticut challenge, on Monday, February 6. East Granby will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 58-41 league win over East Windsor (East Windsor, CT).
