New Jersey High School Basketball - Clifton nips Bergen Tech
January 4, 2024: Clifton, NJ 07013 Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bergen Tech Knights (Hackensack, NJ), 41-36 in a league bout.
With the victory, Clifton upgrades its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to North Bergen (North Bergen, NJ) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 4-4. North Bergen won 62-56 in their recent league bout against Snyder (Jersey City, NJ)
Next up, the Knights play the Fort Lee Bridgemen (Fort Lee, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Bergen Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Bridgemen come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 55-50 league win over Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ).
