Missouri High School Basketball - Newburg fells Steelville
January 4, 2024: Newburg, MO 65550 Newburg Wolves (Newburg, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Steelville Cardinals (Steelville, MO), 60-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Newburg upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Wolves travel to Southern Boone (Ashland, MO) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Southern Boone won 65-63 in their recent non-league bout against Owensville (Owensville, MO)
Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Owensville Dutchmen (Owensville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Steelville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
