The Chadron Cardinals basketball squad (Chadron, NE), was crushed 70-46 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE)

With the victory, Scottsbluff advances its record to 10-1 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Bennington (Bennington, NE) to meet the Badgers in a non-league battle on Friday, January 10. The Badgers enter the battle with a record of 4-4.

The Cardinals now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hot Springs for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 7. Chadron will meet a Bison squad coming off a 75-38 non-league loss to Spearfish (Spearfish, SD). The Bison record now stands at 0-3.
