Georgia High School Basketball - Fayette County victorious over Trinity Christian

In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Fayette County Tigers basketball team scored a good 57-49 triumph over the Trinity Christian Lions.

The Tigers (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Tigers go into the AAA Region 2 contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Troup County was topped by Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA), 83-68, in a league contest.

Next up, the Lions meet the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) in a AAA Region 2 battle, on Tuesday, January 7. Trinity Christian will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record. The Grangers enter the battle with a 10-5 record after their 54-47 league win over Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA).
