The Howard Lions basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Marriotts Ridge to 17 in the Lions league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Long Reach for a Howard County game on Tuesday, January 7. Howard will confront a Lightning team coming off a 56-52 non-league win over Dunbar (Baltimore, MD). The Lightning record now stands at 3-3.
