Maryland High School Basketball - River Hill thwarts Howard
February 7, 2025: Ellicott City, MD 21043 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD) and the host Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD), observed River Hill's basketball team knock off Howard by a score of 44-31.
The Hawks (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The Wildecats come into the Howard County challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Wilde Lake prevailed over Long Reach (Columbia, MD), 53-48, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions encounter the Centennial Eagles (Ellicott City, MD) in a Howard County challenge, on Wednesday, February 12. Howard will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record.
