The River Hill Hawks basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Glenelg Gladiators to 51 in the Hawks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hawks now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Howard for a Howard County game on Friday, January 17. River Hill will confront a Lions team coming off a 62-52 league win over Long Reach (Columbia, MD). The Lions record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Glenelg falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD) to confront the Wildecats in a Howard County game on Friday, January 17.
