Maryland High School Basketball - Glenelg nips Winters Mill
December 28, 2024: Glenelg, MD 21737 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD) and the visiting Winters Mill Falcons (Westminster, MD), observed Glenelg's basketball team edge Winters Mill by a score of 38-37.
The Gladiators (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The Wildecats come into the Howard County challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Wilde Lake was tipped by Old Mill (Millersville, MD), 55-48, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Century Knights (Sykesville, MD) in a Carroll County challenge, on Friday, January 3. Winters Mill will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 51-38 non-league loss to Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD).
