The Liberty Lions basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Glenelg Gladiators to 35 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Mount de Sales Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Liberty will confront a Sailors team coming off a 55-20 non-league win over Tennessee Heat (Nashville, TN). The Sailors record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Glenelg falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Gladiators host South Carroll (Sykesville, MD) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 2-1.
