The Glenelg Gladiators basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Long Reach Lightning to 29 in the Gladiators league triumph on Thursday.

The Gladiators now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league game on Monday, December 9. Glenelg will confront a Lions team coming off a 40-36 non-league loss to Gerstell Academy (Finksburg, MD). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
