The Wilde Lake Wildecats basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Long Reach Lightning to 48 in the Wildecats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildecats now have a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to River Hill for a Howard County game on Monday, February 10. Wilde Lake will confront a Hawks team coming off a 44-31 league win over Howard (Ellicott City, MD). The Hawks record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Long Reach falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Lightning host Centennial (Ellicott City, MD) to confront the Eagles in a Howard County game on Monday, February 10.
