The Granger Spartans (Granger, WA) basketball crushed the visiting Goldendale Timberwolves (Goldendale, WA), 69-39 in Saturday's league test.

The Spartans (8-2) will now prepare for their test against La Salle (Union Gap, WA). The Lightning go into the 1A South Central - West test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, La Salle was trounced by Highland (Cowiche, WA), 61-56, in a league test.

The Timberwolves now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Zillah for a 1A South Central - West test on Tuesday, January 8. Goldendale will clash with a Leopards squad coming off a 68-42 league win over Cle Elum-Roslyn (Cle Elum, WA). The Leopards record now stands at 8-2.
