The Bishop Hendricken Hawks basketball team scored 93 points and held the visiting Narragansett Mariners to 60 in the Hawks league triumph on Thursday.

The Hawks now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Greenwich for a State Championship contest on Wednesday, January 11. Bishop Hendricken will meet a Avengers team coming off a 47-37 league win over Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Avengers record now stands at 2-4.

The Mariners (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Clippers enter the State Championship contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Cumberland was routed by La Salle Academy (Providence, RI), 72-43, in a league contest.
