New Jersey High School Basketball - Indian Hills holds off Mahwah
January 5, 2023: Oakland, NJ 07436 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Indian Hills Braves (Oakland, NJ) and the visiting Mahwah Thunderbirds (Mahwah, NJ), saw Indian Hills's basketball squad hold off Mahwah by a tally of 46-43.
With the victory, Indian Hills improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Braves host River Dell (Oradell, NJ) to confront the Golden Hawks in a Big North - Patriot challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. River Dell lost 59-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ)
Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Newark Vocational Eagles (Newark, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Mahwah will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 52-37 non-league win over People's Prep (Newark, NJ).
