Washington High School Basketball - Kettle Falls nips Upper Columbia Academy
January 5, 2023: Kettle Falls, WA 99141 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Kettle Falls Bulldogs (Kettle Falls, WA) and the visiting Upper Columbia Academy Lions (Spangle, WA), saw Kettle Falls's basketball squad hold off Upper Columbia Academy by a tally of 76-70.
With the victory, Kettle Falls improves its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Davenport (Davenport, WA) to play the Gorillas in a 2B Bi-County challenge on Friday, January 6. The Gorillas come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Davenport lost 59-54 in their recent league challenge against Liberty (Spangle, WA)
Next up, the Lions play the Reardan Screaming Eagles (Reardan, WA) in a 2B Bi-County challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Upper Columbia Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Screaming Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 64-52 league loss to Colfax (Colfax, WA).
