Washington High School Basketball - St. George's thwarts Upper Columbia Academy
January 17, 2023: Spokane, WA 99208 The St. George's Dragons (Spokane, WA) basketball knocked off the visiting Upper Columbia Academy Lions (Spangle, WA), 58-39 in Tuesday's league test.
The Dragons (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA). The Crusaders go into the 2B Bi-County test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Northwest Christian School notched a victory over Liberty (Spangle, WA), 81-43, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Davenport for a 2B Bi-County test on Wednesday, January 18. Upper Columbia Academy will encounter a Gorillas squad coming off a 60-48 league win over Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA). The Gorillas record now stands at 14-1.
