January 5, 2023: Florence, SC 29501 The Maranatha Christian Bulldogs basketball team (Florence, SC), dropped 26-11 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Marlboro Academy Dragons (Bennettsville, SC)
The Dragons now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pee Dee Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. Marlboro Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 48-38 non-league loss to Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 9-2.
The Bulldogs (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against South Pointe Christian (Pageland, SC). The Patriots come into the South Carolina Christian AA - Coastal A battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, South Pointe Christian dropped by Carolina Christian (Locust, NC), 53-49, in a non-league battle.
