January 5, 2023: Blaine, WA 98230 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) and the visiting Sedro-Woolley Cubs (Sedro-Woolley, WA), saw Blaine's basketball squad overcome Sedro-Woolley by a tally of 58-42.
With the victory, Blaine improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Borderites travel to Meridian (Bellingham, WA) to confront the Trojans in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
Next up, the Cubs confront the Cedarcrest Red Wolves (Duvall, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Sedro-Woolley will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Red Wolves come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 50-37 league loss to Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA).
