Illinois High School Basketball - Chicago Christian knocked off by Argo
January 5, 2024: Summit, IL 60501 The Argo Argonauts basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Chicago Christian Knights to 50 in the Argonauts non-league triumph on Friday.
The Argonauts now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln-Way West for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Argo will battle a Warriors team coming off a 54-38 league loss to Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 9-8.
The Knights (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL). The Hurricanes enter the Freelance contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Marian Central Catholic was defeated by Christ the King (Chicago, IL), 77-37, in a league contest.
