Roscoe Plowboys (Roscoe, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Bronte Longhorns (Bronte, TX), 41-25 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Roscoe upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Plowboys host Spur (Spur, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 1-9.

Next up, the Longhorns play the Eula Pirates (Clyde, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Bronte will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 17-3 record after their 60-45 non-league win over Winters (Winters, TX).
