Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Central Falls Warriors (Central Falls, RI) and the visiting West Warwick Wizards (West Warwick, RI), saw Central Falls's basketball squad knock off West Warwick by a count of 48-40.

With the victory, Central Falls upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host St. Patrick Academy (Providence, RI) to play the Padres in a Division 3 challenge on Monday, January 8. The Padres come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. St. Patrick Academy won 41-34 in their recent league challenge against Block Island (New Shoreham, RI)

Next up, the Wizards play the Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI) in a Division 3 challenge, on Monday, January 8. West Warwick will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 45-41 non-league loss to Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI).
