The Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Clearfield Bison (Clearfield, PA), 72-47 in Friday's league test.

The Hilltoppers (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Bedford (Bedford, PA). The Bisons go into the Laurel Highlands test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Bedford was trounced by Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA), 59-41, in a league test.

The Bison now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Philipsburg-Osceola for a Laurel Highlands test on Monday, January 8. Clearfield will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 48-40 league win over Somerset (Somerset, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 3-8.
