The Parkland Mustangs basketball team (Winston-Salem, NC), was nudged 53-50 in Friday's league battle with the visiting East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC)

The Eagles now possess a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host R.J. Reynolds for a 4A Central Piedmont battle on Tuesday, January 9. East Forsyth will battle a Demons team coming off a 48-35 league win over Glenn (Kernersville, NC). The Demons record now stands at 8-4.

The Mustangs (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC). The Raiders come into the 4A Central Piedmont battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Reagan was nudged by West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC), 63-56, in a league battle.
