North Carolina High School Basketball - East Forsyth knocked off by Mount Tabor
January 3, 2024: Kernersville, NC 27284 The Mount Tabor Spartans basketball team scored 63 points and held the host East Forsyth Eagles to 53 in the Spartans league triumph on Wednesday.
The Spartans now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Davie for a 4A Central Piedmont contest on Friday, January 5. Mount Tabor will battle a War Eagles team coming off a 67-61 league win over Reagan (Pfafftown, NC). The War Eagles record now stands at 12-0.
The Eagles (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC). The Mustangs enter the 4A Central Piedmont contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Parkland was defeated by R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC), 59-54, in a league contest.
