North Carolina High School Basketball - Davie edges Mount Tabor
January 5, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27106 In Friday's league outing, the Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC) basketball squad nipped the host Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC), by a margin of 59-53.
The War Eagles (13-0) will now prepare for their outing against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC). The Titans go into the 4A Central Piedmont bout with a 10-2 record. In their last bout, West Forsyth held off Reagan (Pfafftown, NC), 63-56, in a league bout.
Next up, the Spartans play the Glenn Bobcats (Kernersville, NC) in a 4A Central Piedmont bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Mount Tabor will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 48-35 league loss to R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC).
