The Huss Huskies basketball team (Gastonia, NC), was nudged 61-57 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC)

The Golden Lions now possess a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bessemer City for a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont battle on Tuesday, January 9.
