Indiana High School Basketball - Lake Central crushes La Porte

January 5, 2024: La Porte, IN 46350

Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN), 65-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Lake Central upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Indians host Harrison (West Lafayette, IN) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Harrison lost 61-54 in their recent non-league bout against West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN)

Next up, the Slicers play the Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) in a Duneland bout, on Friday, January 12. La Porte will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 80-71 league loss to Merrillville (Merrillville, IN).
