Indiana High School Basketball - La Porte ripped by Portage

February 16, 2024: Portage, IN 46368

In Friday's league match, the host Portage Indians basketball team scored a decisive 77-27 triumph over the La Porte Slicers.

In their next game, the Indians meet the Hebron Hawks (Hebron, IN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 20. Portage will attempt to better on its 13-8 season record. The Hawks enter the match with a 21-1 record after their 54-47 non-league win over North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN).

With the defeat, La Porte moves to 10-11 on the year. The Slicers host Michigan City (Michigan City, IN) to meet the Wolves in a Duneland match on Tuesday, February 20. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 10-11. Michigan City lost 73-68 in their recent league match against Merrillville (Merrillville, IN)
