In Friday's league match, the host Portage Indians basketball team scored a decisive 70-49 triumph over the Chesterton Trojans.

In their next game, the Indians meet the La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN) in a Duneland match, on Friday, February 16. Portage will attempt to move on its 12-8 season record. The Slicers enter the match with a 10-10 record after their 60-46 non-league win over Goshen (Goshen, IN).
