The La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN) basketball crushed the visiting Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN), 71-47 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Slicers (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Logansport (Logansport, IN). The Berries go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Logansport was trounced by Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN), 81-75, in a non-league test.

The Red Devils now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to La Porte for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Lowell will encounter a Slicers squad coming off a 65-50 non-league win over Logansport (Logansport, IN). The Slicers record now stands at 7-3.
