Mississippi High School Basketball - West Union nipped by Lafayette
January 5, 2024: Myrtle, MS 38650 The Lafayette Commodores nipped the host West Union Eagles basketball squad by a margin of 69-64 in Friday's non-league test.
The Commodores (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Southaven (Southaven, MS). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Southaven was tipped by Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS), 60-55, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 16-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Lowndes for a 1A Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 16.
