North Dakota High School Basketball - Lisbon nips Sargent County
January 5, 2024: Lisbon, ND 58054 Lisbon Broncos (Lisbon, ND) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Sargent County Bulldogs (Milnor, ND), 65-62 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lisbon upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Richland (Colfax, ND) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Richland lost 64-39 in their recent non-league bout against Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions (Linton, ND) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Sargent County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 65-54 non-league win over Bottineau (Bottineau, ND).
