The Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC) basketball knocked off the host Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC), 56-37 in Friday's non-league test.

The Rebels (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC). The Panthers go into the AA Region 3 test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Batesburg-Leesville notched a victory over Horse Creek Academy (Aiken, SC), 71-48, in a non-league test.
