Napoleon Wildcats (Napoleon, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH), 61-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Napoleon upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Southview (Sylvania, OH) to clash with the Cougars in a Northern Lakes bout on Friday, January 12. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-2.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Waite Indians (Toledo, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 8. Northview will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 0-9 record after their 71-37 non-league loss to Archbold (Archbold, OH).
