January 26, 2024: Sylvania, OH 43560 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Anthony Wayne Generals (Whitehouse, OH) and the host Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH), saw Anthony Wayne's basketball squad hold off Northview by a tally of 45-41.
With the victory, Anthony Wayne improves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Findlay (Findlay, OH) to confront the Trojans in a Northern Lakes challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 12-1. Findlay lost 40-37 in their recent league challenge against Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Scott Bulldogs (Toledo, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Northview will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 61-26 league win over Waite (Toledo, OH).
